We are incredibly happy to announce that the Extreme Violets limited edition box-set is now available to pre order on our website.
This is an exquisite two book edition of Miggy Angel's second poetry collection, Extreme Violets. The limited edition box set houses the books within a charcoal black and metallic foil blocked slipcase, expertly crafted at A14 print finishers (Nottingham). The books feature accompanying full colour photography throughout.
Through a mixture of verse and prose poetry, Miggy takes you on a journey with each section defining a different moment. These are not separate poems chucked into a collection but one continuous movement from start to finish that is designed to be read from cover to cover. Each section, be it Blue Brutal, Rattlesnake Semantics, Glitterball or Spirit in the House of Blood, is a perfect snapshot. These poems aren't by Miggy Angel; they define him.
It is a poetic journey through the mind of a shaman poet. A beautifully dark experience with every ounce of light squeezed from its lines. Linguistically, Miggy stands alone and provides a truly visceral experience through each word. The rhythm of the poetry is ethereal, wandering, mystical, yet the imagery and content are concrete and will be emblazoned on your mind. If a poetry collection could ever be described as dangerous then this is it. Remember to breathe and read alone only if you dare. This is a body of work like no other in its density and impact on its readers.
There will only be 50 copies of the box sets in the entire world. Each copy will be signed and numbered by Miggy himself, and numbers 1-25 come with a limited edition, signed and mounted 5x7" print.
Pre order here
All pre orders aim to be shipped by the 16th of July. Everyone who orders a box set will be kept updated on the progress of the collection. Please note, this is a provisional date and heavily depends on printing turnaround. We highly anticipate that orders will be shipped on or before this date.
We will be continuing to update our website and social media platforms with images of the box set as developments unfold.
